SPF50+ sunscreen that can aid in the prevention of Solar Keratosis and may reduce the risk of some skin cancers.

NEW La Roche-Posay Anthelios KA+ Sunscreen SPF50+ can aid in the prevention of Solar Keratosis and may reduce the risk of some skin cancers. Solar Keratosis can appear as persistent raised, rough, dry and scaly patches or lesions on areas of the skin with high sun exposure (ie. Face, hands, ears, lips). They are the first signs of skin cancer development and can also vary in colour from skin colour to red pigmented. Many harmful skin cancers can begin as a solar keratosis/actinic keratosis lesion, so it is important to monitor the skin for any changes to moles or lesions by booking a regular full body skin check with a dermatologist or specialist GP. Solar keratosis most commonly occurs in individuals aged 40+, with light/fair skin tones, weakened immune systems, occupations that have them working outside, sensitive skin post-surgery & genetic predispositions to skin cancer. Men are also 3x more likely to develop Solar Keratosis in their lifetimes. Always consult a dermatologist or GP if you have a skin concern. This sunscreen has a hydrating formula with broad spectrum SPF50+, contains an innovative UV filtering system to provide very high UVA and UVB protection, and is enriched with Niacinamide and Panthenol to aid in repairing and soothing the skin moisture barrier, which also helps to protect against the oxidative stress induced by pollution. Dermatologically tested for sensitive skin, Anthelios KA+ has a melt-in cream texture that leaves no white marks and is non-greasy on the skin.
