Ascensia Diastix Reagent Strips are urine test strips designed to detect glucose in urine. Each strip contains a test area that changes colour according to the glucose level in the sample. Results are read by comparing the test area with the colour chart provided on the bottle.

How to Use

  1. Collect a fresh urine sample in a clean, dry container.

  2. Remove one strip from the bottle and immediately replace and tightly close the cap.

  3. Briefly immerse the test area of the strip in the urine sample for no more than 1 second.

  4. Tap the edge of the strip against the rim of the container to remove excess urine.

  5. Hold the strip horizontally and compare the test area with the colour chart on the bottle exactly 30 seconds after dipping.

Warnings

For in vitro diagnostic use only. Do not use after the expiration date. Keep out of reach of children. Read the package insert carefully before use. Do not touch the test area of the strip. Strips are for single use only.

Storage

Store at room temperature between 15°C and 30°C. Do not store in the refrigerator or freezer. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
