Travelan contains specific antibodies designed to neutralise enterotoxigenic E. coli (ETEC), one of the main bacterial causes of travellers' diarrhoea (TD). It is intended for use by travellers to help reduce the risk and symptoms associated with ETEC-related diarrhoea.

Symptoms of travellers' diarrhoea may include:

  • Diarrhoea
  • Fever
  • Vomiting
  • Nausea
  • Abdominal cramps
  • Bloating

Travelan may also help reduce symptoms associated with minor gastrointestinal disorders.

Indications

Travellers' diarrhoea is a common health concern among international travellers and is frequently associated with exposure to harmful bacteria. ETEC can attach to the intestinal wall and cause gastrointestinal symptoms and discomfort.

Directions

Take one caplet before each meal, as directed on the product label.

Travelan contains milk protein, lactose, and glucose.
