Benzac AC Mild Strength 2.5% Acne Gel is a milder, targeted gel, designed for sensitive skin in your fight against acne, harnessing acrylates copolymer – tiny beads that absorb up to four times their own weight in fluid – to soak up excess oils, but leaving the water healthy skin needs untouched. Added glycerin leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft. The benefits of this acne gel are: -Kills bacteria on the skin that causes acne, and unplugs blocked pores (blackheads and whiteheads). -Absorbs excess oils on the skin. -Releases glycerol, which reduces the risk of irritation.

HOW TO USE:

As the second step in your three-step acne treatment routine, only use Benzac AC Mild Strength 2.5% Acne Gel on affected areas. Make sure you wash with a cleanser first, before patting your skin dry. Next, apply a thin film of gel – just once a day – and leave it for two hours. Wash off well with water and pat dry, before applying a light moisturiser. If, after three days, you’ve felt no discomfort, apply in the evening and leave overnight before washing off. After seven days, if there’s no redness or peeling, and your condition has not improved, use twice daily, morning and night. If you’re not happy with the results, try a stronger gel (Benzac AC Moderate Strength 5% Acne Gel). If your condition has not improved after one month, consult your Health Professional.

Warnings:

If excessive swelling, irritation, redness or peeling occurs, discontinue use. If it persists, consult your doctor.

Do not use BENZAC AC Gel if:

  1. You have an allergy to benzoyl peroxide or any ingredients listed.
  2. The package is torn or shows signs of tampering.
  3. The expiry date (EXP) printed on the pack has passed.
  4. You are pregnant or breastfeeding or intend to become pregnant or breastfeed.

Do not use BENZAC AC with any other acne products that are used on the skin unless your doctor or pharmacist has told you that you can, as this may cause your skin to become red and sore.
