Medstock Silicone Foam is a sterile, absorbent wound dressing designed for the management of moderate to heavily exuding wounds. Its soft silicone adhesive layer provides gentle and secure adhesion, minimising pain and trauma to the wound and surrounding skin during dressing changes. The dressing helps maintain a moist wound environment conducive to healing while the waterproof outer layer protects the wound from external contaminants.

How To Use

Cleanse the wound area in accordance with standard protocols and ensure the surrounding skin is completely dry.

Select a dressing size that ensures the foam pad extends at least 2cm beyond the wound margins.

Remove the protective release liners from the adhesive side of the dressing.

Apply the adherent side to the wound, ensuring it is centered over the wound area. Do not stretch the dressing.

Gently smooth the dressing into place, ensuring the edges are securely adhered to the skin.

Warnings

For external use only. Do not use with oxidising agents such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide. If reddening or sensitisation occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. The dressing is sterile unless the individual package is opened or damaged.
